How We Choose Tools
SoloFaves is built around one constraint: a solo operator has limited time, limited attention, and a limited monthly software budget. A tool has to earn its place.
Selection criteria
- It solves a clear solo-work problem.
- It has a reasonable learning curve.
- It does not create unnecessary maintenance work.
- Its pricing makes sense for one-person businesses.
- It has credible alternatives if it becomes too expensive or too heavy.
What we avoid
We avoid recommending tools only because they are popular, newly launched, or part of a trend. We also avoid thin comparison pages that do not help someone make a real choice.
What a good recommendation includes
A good SoloFaves recommendation includes realistic pros, realistic cons, use cases, alternatives, and a final verdict. If a product is useful but easy to overbuy, that tradeoff should be visible.
